The first of six new meetings for analysis, dialogue and discussion organised by our Association took place on Tuesday, 4 March.
‘Nuragic civilisation and Unesco: only culture or also economic development?’ was the title of the meeting whose protagonists were Pierpaolo Vargiu, President of La Sardegna verso l’Unesco, and Raffaele Paci, Professor of Economics at UniCa.
The central theme? The future development of Sardinia, which sees in the enhancement of the Nuragic heritage the key to intercepting those challenges capable of generating new opportunities for lasting economic growth.
The next event will be on Tuesday, 18 March with Antonello Sanna, a member of the Association, and Pierluigi Montalbano, a populariser of science, who will touch on the theme of the changing face of Sardinia at the end of the Bronze Age.
