Another participative and engaging event in Sassari. Under the title ‘Representing and communicating cultural heritage: the fruition of nuragic sites’, on Wednesday 2 April at the Fondazione di Sardegna hall, the Association’s vice-president, Edoardo Balzarini, and UniSS architecture professor, Enrico Cicalò, took the audience on a journey that touched on the past, but also and above all on the present and future, identifying the critical issues that still prevent real fruition and accessibility of the sites.
How can sites be put in a position to become part of the Unesco heritage? Accessibility, services, fruition the topics touched upon in the meeting.
During the second meeting in Sassari of the cycle of spring meetings on the enhancement of ancient Sardinian civilisation organised by our Association in cooperation with the Fondazione di Sardegna, the Fondazione Segni, the ISSLA Association and the Università delle Tre Tre Età, the steps still to be taken to actually ‘live’, communicate and get to know Sardinia’s monumental heritage better were analysed.
Institutional greetings by the President of the Association, Pierpaolo Vargiu, the President of the Fondazione di Sardegna, Giacomo Spissu, and the President of the Università delle Tre Tre Età, Antonello Pazzona, were followed by the thematic session led by Balzarini and curated by Professor Cicalò.
