3a: Along the road to Erula stands the Nuraghe Majore, protected by walls and on the northeast side by a large cliff. It is a single-tower nuraghe, still in excellent condition and with an almost intact tholos.
The San Giorgio is a nuraghe not easily accessible that features a tholos collapsed inward. It takes its name from the small church located nearby.
The photos of the Nuraghe Majore in Perfugas are by Giovanni Sotgiu and Romano Stangherlin. Those of the Nuraghe San Giorgio, also in the territory of Perfugas, are by Maria Antonietta Simula.
