We have long appreciated the photos of Bibi Pinna, which demonstrate passion, technique, and sensitivity in representing the prehistoric and protostoric monuments of Sardinia, even in the less obvious details. In her shots, her dog Farah is often present, now accustomed to moving among nuraghi, tombs of the giants, and sacred wells, giving a touch of liveliness and charm to the static nature of the ancient stones. Many of Bibi’s best photos, along with those of her partner Alessandra, have been included in the recently published book “La Sardegna oltre al mare.” A treasure trove of fascinating images that risked being “swallowed” in the continuous whirlwind of social media pages.
