Visti da vicino, first stop in Orroli

On Saturday 4 October, the Visti da vicino (Seen Up Close) travelling project started from the Arrubiu nuraghe in Orroli, the most monumental of the excavated nuraghi. Three stops at three sites to get to know the ancient Sardinian civilisation up close.

The ‘seen up close’ project is part of the Association’s intense awareness-raising and dissemination activities, hinged on a path of rediscovery and enhancement of ancient Sardinian civilisation. The aim is to bring everyone, especially the new generations, closer to the Nuragic heritage and to raise awareness that investing in the image of Sardinia in the world can be the winning bet for a new path of sustainable development of the island.

The programme continues on Saturday 11 October with a visit to the Santa Vittoria nuragic complex in Serri and on Saturday 25 October to Mont’e Prana and the Cabras museum.
