Selargius: I open to UNESCO

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 8, IN SELARGIUS “I OPEN TO UNESCO” AND “THE NURAGHI ENTER SCHOOLS”.

On Friday, October 8, at 10:30 AM, at the “I Mulini” Shopping Center, in Su Planu, Selargius, a press conference was held to present the exhibition on the Nuragic civilization organized by the Association La Sardegna verso l’Unesco in collaboration with the municipal administration of Selargius.

The press conference was attended by the president of the Association, Pierpaolo Vargiu, the mayor of Selargius Pier Luigi Concu along with the councilors for decentralization policies, Cristina Pilo, and for culture, Roberta Relli, and the regional councilors, Sara Canu, Piero Comandini, and Stefano Schirru.

The press conference was preceded by a lesson for the fifth-grade classes by archaeologist Alessandra Gaviano, at the “Su Planu” Comprehensive Institute of Selargius. Under the guidance of their teachers, the children had already undertaken their own work path on the themes of the ancient Sardinian civilization, which concluded with the creation of small yet evocative creative works that helped to build a narrative that takes the entire Sardinia back four thousand years.

The exhibition of photographic images will be hosted until October 17 at the I Mulini Shopping Center, the first shopping center in Su Planu, and at the premises of the Santo Spirito parish.
