The ‘Sentieri nuragici’ (Nuragic Paths), a fascinating journey promoted by ‘Sardinia towards Unesco’ to discover the treasures of our island’s millenary Nuragic civilisation, is back.
The event, the result of a partnership with Imago Mundi in the context of the Monumenti aperti event, is scheduled for Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 October in Siddi with a visit to the Sa Fogaia nuraghe, located in the splendid nature park of the same name, and the Sa domu e s’Orcu tomb of the giants.
The monuments will be open Saturday from 15.30 to 18.30 and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 15.30 to 18.30. The visit will be led by young school students.
The ‘Sentieri nuragici’ initiative, which already in May and June in conjunction with Monumenti Aperti saw a large public participation, represents an important cultural promotion action in support of the candidature of the monuments of the Nuragic civilisation in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
