Cults and temples of the Nuragic civilisation

Under the title ‘The cults and temples of the Nuragic civilisation’, the third appointment of the autumn lecture series on the cultural and economic enhancement of the Nuragic civilisation promoted by our Association took place today, 29 October.
What were temples used for? What was the significance of the cults? Who could participate in the rituals? These were the suggestions and questions answered by Nicola Dessì, archaeologist and populariser, introduced by Antonello Sanna, a member of the association.
A journey into the Sardinia of the past, which from North to South still preserves a unique architectural heritage with its Tombs of the Giants, sanctuaries and sacred wells, and nuraghi. Places and divinities, architectures from the Nuragic and pre-Nuragic ages, emblems of an evocative scenario full of fascination and mystery, analysed in their structure and deepest meaning during the meeting at Sa Manifattura.
