The nuraghe Tintirriolos of Bortigali

The nuraghe Tintirriolos in Bortigali gets its name from the bats (tintirriolos) that have likely occupied its hollows over time.

The Nuraghe was complex, but at the moment only the central tower (mastio) is appreciated, which rises at least 4.5 m above the level of the rubble from the collapse. It is part of the nuragic circuit of Bortigali.

From the SS 131 towards Sassari, shortly before the 149 Km mark, turn for Mulargia, cross the village, and continue for another 3 km, leaving an asphalted road on the left, until the deviation that leads to nuraghe Orolo, indicated by a tourist panel.

Follow this road, passing the junction for nuraghe Orolo and continuing downhill past the complex of Carrarzu Iddia, for a total of 1.300 Km.

The monument is on the left in a property closed by a gate.

It is necessary to leave the car by the roadside.
