The nuraghe is located in the center of the Pedrasenta plateau, in Planargia, a region of northwestern Sardinia. It is a nuragic complex consisting of a keep surrounded by a bastion of three towers connected by straight curtain walls. All around, the remains of the village are evident. The main entrance, recently cleared of debris thanks to an excavation campaign, leads into a perfectly preserved projecting courtyard from which a corridor over two meters long extends. The courtyard, open to the sky, has a pentagonal shape with a curvilinear layout. The keep, about 16 meters high, is well preserved compared to the bastion. The upper rows of the keep show a vertical alignment, which is a unique example throughout Sardinia, and retain part of the terminal section of the tower, on which the large stone corbels that make up the circular balcony were affixed, still visible in large quantities in the archaeological area.
