This can be read on “Nuragando Sardegna”:
“The nuraghe Banzos B, in Santu Lussurgiu, is one of those nuraghi for which the saying holds true: never stop at appearances. From the road, the nuraghe can be glimpsed from behind. As you enter the nuraghe, you can admire a spectacular entrance, 5.5 meters high! The nuraghe itself is small: it is a single-tower structure without niches and without stairs, but the entrance, complete with a small window for drainage on the lintel, is something unexpected and fascinating. The central chamber, perfectly circular, has a diameter of 4.65 meters. Nearby is the nuraghe Banzos A, almost completely collapsed (only three or four rows remain in the outer wall, reaching a height of 1.50 meters). The toponym Banzos, quite common in Sardinia, seems to allude to the presence of a villa with thermal environments (Banzos from Balneos for Balnea), and in the area, there are Roman remains. How to get there: From the 131, take the detour at Paulilatino towards Santu Lussurgiu. Continue for 7 km and then turn right. The nuraghe will be on your right after 700 meters. Site not managed.”
