This morning, the Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Association “La Sardegna verso l’UNESCO” and “NURAGICA Museum Experience,” which initiates an intensive collaboration aimed at spreading awareness, knowledge, and consciousness about the importance of the Sardinian nuragic heritage, especially in terms of future development for Sardinia. This joint action will see the Association ‘La Sardegna verso l’Unesco’ and the Cooperative behind ‘NURAGICA’ engaged in a collaboration that could form the basis for future cultural initiatives aimed at promoting knowledge of the nuraghi.
“Thanks to this collaboration, two important entities active on the Island for the promotion of the Sardinian nuragic heritage are joining forces, a clear sign of the common will to protect and enhance the Sardinian landscape and cultural heritage – explains the President of the Association “La Sardegna verso l’Unesco”, Pierpaolo Vargiu – Thanks to the significant initiatives undertaken in recent years, which have seen both entities engaged, it is now evident how the ancient Sardinian civilization is an international attraction and at the same time the main way for new development perspectives that ensure Sardinia a constant and lasting growth.”
“We are absolutely convinced of the strategic importance of the UNESCO candidacy of the sites of excellence of the nuragic heritage – is the comment of Paolo Alberto Pinna, founder of the Nuragica format – due to the undeniable benefits that this can generate in terms of protection and enhancement but also of cultural growth and economic development of the island.”
