The first edition of ‘Sentieri nuragici’ (Nuragic Paths), a programme of guided tours that visited 30 nuragic sites in May, June and October, comes to a close in Olbia.
Included in the rich calendar of Monumenti Aperti 2025, the project was an important tool for promoting knowledge and enhancing the nuragic heritage.
On Saturday 25 – from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. – and Sunday 26 – from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. – the protagonist will be the Sacred Well of Sa Testa. Excavated in 1938 and restored in the late 1960s, it is one of the best-known places of worship in Nuragic Sardinia.
The initiative ‘Sentieri nuragici’ (Nuragic Paths), which already in May and June in conjunction with Monumenti Aperti saw a large public participation, represents an important cultural promotion action in support of the candidature of the monuments of the Nuragic civilisation in the UNESCO World Heritage List. With the guided tours in October, a successful, well-participated and strongly felt journey by the public comes to an end.
