“Monte ‘e Mesu’ in Thiesi

A mountain located in the middle of two valleys called ‘Sas baddes’.

A mountain that preserves the remains of a mysterious monument, witness to ancient mysteries, instrument of archaic rites unknown to us.

The feeling of being in a sacred place pervades us once we reach its summit, an enchanted place, a place of peace, a place close to heaven.

The site is framed by the ruins of a nuraghe erected on the edge of a cliff, which in a landslide dragged a large part of the monument down into the valley, a monolith placed next to the nuraghe in a panoramic position, and the remains of some huts, probably Nuragic.

We visited ‘Monte Mesu’ in the territory of Thiesi, the mountain between two valleys, and admired its enigmatic monument.
