Exploring Sardinia’s millenary past, but also working to ensure that the most advanced technologies can become a valuable tool for the promotion, dissemination and protection of the Nuragic heritage, putting innovation at the service of history and archaeology in order to arrive at the definition of a new economic development model for Sardinia.
More than 200 people were present at Sa Manifattura in Cagliari for the international conference organised by our Association ‘Nuragic Civilisation and Artificial Intelligence: from stones to neural networks’, which was attended by experts from all over the world.
During the event, the project of Sardinia towards UNESCO ‘EIA’, Ecosystem for Innovation on Protohistoric Archaeology, which brings together the work of the University of Cagliari (DICAAR and GLAB), CRENoS and the Regional Research Centre CRS4, was also presented for the first time.
Divided into two time and thematic windows that captured the attention of the participants until the evening, the initiative linked the project for the valorisation of the Nuragic civilisation for Unesco purposes to new technologies, opening an interdisciplinary discussion that touched on numerous aspects of Ia, also applied to the Nuragic civilisation.
