The Aidu (Cossoine) is ‘the main nuraghe in the area, directly connected to the neighbouring Nuraghe Corru Oes.
The quadrilobed has a soaring central tower built with semi-squared stone recourses. The mighty collapse obliterates the main chamber on the lower floor, while what can be seen is part of the first floor. The valuable environmental context crowns a visit to a place of undoubted charm. We leave Cossoine by Via Pietro Basciu, following it for about 400 metres. Here we take the exit for the SS292 dir, following it for 2.5 km. Deviating slightly to the left, we will find the archaeological area on the right’.

In the vicinity of the nuraghe, there is a dolmen-type tomb of the same name.
The Corruoe nuraghe, on the other hand, is a single-tower located on a small plateau visually connected to Aidu. The remains of a village, consisting of circular huts, have been found in its vicinity.
