95.2 and 96.2: The nuraghe Aleri, located in the territory of Tertenia, “in good state of preservation, consists of a main tholos to which other masonry parts have been subsequently added. From the entrance of the nuraghe, a long corridor and a staircase lead. In the main structure, where the roof has collapsed, there are some niches. The nuraghe, dating back to 1500 – 1200 B.C., stands on a hill, on whose slopes there are the remains of circular and oval walls, probably belonging to a village. (Agugliastra.it)
The “Longu,” also in the territory of Tertenia, is one of the many nuraghi guarding the central-eastern coast of Sardegna. The central tower features an intact tholos, and around it, traces of secondary towers can be appreciated.
