53.2 and 54.2: Nuraghe Caddaris in Dualchi and Nuraghe Tolinu in Noragugume

53.2 and 54.2: The nuraghe Caddaris, located in the territory of Dualchi, is a single-tower structure with a trapezoidal entrance, a niche, a corridor staircase, and a chamber bordered by three other niches arranged in a cross shape. The monument was enclosed by a curtain wall that ran about 10 meters from the tower, possibly for 380°. It is situated on the boundary line of the territorial areas of Dualchi and Sedilo.
The nuraghe Tolinu of Noragugume, located two km from the village in a beautiful position on a plateau overlooking the Tirso valley, is an imposing complex-type nuragic monument, reused until historical times, consisting of a large central tower of truncated conical shape (tholos), surrounded by a bastion that incorporates several smaller towers. In its surroundings, there are traces of a residential settlement.
The photos of the nuraghe Caddaris are by Andrea Mura-Nuragando Sardegna, Sergio Melis, and Alessandro Pilia; those of the nuraghe Tolinu are by Marco Cocco, Bibi Pinna, and Romano Stangherlin.
