107.2 and 108.2: The Medau Cuccu, the best-preserved nuraghe in the Tratalias area, is located in one of the numerous medaus (sheepfolds) called is Cuccus. It is a single-tower structure with a residual height of about 5 m, built of megalithic andesite blocks. The circular internal chamber is approximately 5.50 m wide, features a soaring tholos, and is completely free of collapse debris.
The Nuraghe Meurras, at the borders of the territories of San Giovanni Suergiu, Tratalias, and Giba, is “built of subsquared megalithic blocks arranged in fairly regular courses, to the northeast of which extends an extensive village mostly reduced to a stretch of stones: from the widespread collapse, some megalithic structures and a few huts uncovered by unauthorized excavators emerge. The nuraghe, however, preserves its original height to a certain extent; however, its plan is not immediately readable.” (Comune di Tratalias)
