94e.2 and 94f.2: Nuraghe S.Giovanni in Siamanna/Siapiccia and nuraghe Dominigu Porru in Villanova Truschedu

94e.2 and 94f.2: The Nuraghe Santu Juanni or San Giovanni is located about 1 km north of Villaurbana in the territory of Siamanna. It is a single-tower structure built with roughly hewn basalt blocks. The entrance corridor is flat-ceilinged and leads to a chamber with an intact tholos. The upper floor, now collapsed, is overgrown with shrubs and prickly pears.

The “Dominigu Porru,” in the territory of Villanova Truschedu, is a single-tower nuraghe made of basalt blocks and situated in an area where a large number of nuraghi can be found, possibly functionally connected and all close to the course of the Rio sa Mela, a right tributary of the Tirso.
